After one season playing soccer in Germany representing ASV Vach´s colors, the Pro IFX Player Antonio Schoenegger (19) enters his second consecutive year in the Pro IFX Year Germany University program, and has been officially transferred to German football club FC Stein.
The native from Mays Landing, New Jersey trained and trialed with both the second and first team impressing both coaches. “I was asked to come train three times and the third time was the charm. After the third training the coach finally has said they would like to have me on the team.” Joseph stated.
According to official international enrollment statistics, 458,520 international students were attending university in the UK and it is estimated that about 56 per cent of that total were enrolled in an undergraduate course.
“The process for me to find a team was pretty straightforward,” stated Goalkeeper Nathaniel Drew (18). A native from Boston who touched down Nürnberg as part of Pro Year Germany program was invited by SG Quelle Fürth, one of the long-term IFX Partner clubs, to tend the goal for a couple of pre-season games.
