High Performance Soccer Camp

The High Performance Campus Experience in Villaviciosa de Odón is designed for kids who wish to polish and improve their sport technique. The soccer camp is designed for players from 9 to 17 years old who would like to add the objective of technical development in their practice of sports and learn via the cores values of Real Madrid offered by the Campus Experience. This high performance soccer camp is for more competitive players who have previously competed within a soccer club or team. The high performance soccer camp is available as a residential camp as well as a day camp.

Soccer Camp

The Campus Experience is aimed for kids from 7 to 17 years old. From the moment they wake up till they go to bed our participants will live firsthand what is to grow as a group within the program of learning and sports directed by Foundation Real Madrid coaches and Campus Experience educators. Housed in the first class residence they are transported daily to Ciudad Real Madrid de Valdebebas to take part in 90 minutes of training in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon under the supervision of Real Madrid Foundation coaches. This camp is geared towards all levels of players. The Campus Experience soccer camp is available as a residential camp as well as a day camp.

Goalkeeper Camps

Goalkeepers between the ages of 7 – 17 may elect to get specific goalkeeper training as a part of the Fundacion Real Madrid Campus Experience program. The goalkeeper camp focuses on goalie drills and fundamentals of goalkeeping in soccer, using the philosophies and training methodologies embraced by Real Madrid FC. The goalie camps include the Goalkeeper High Performance Residential and Day Camps as well as the non-High Performance Residential and Day soccer camps.

English and Spanish Classes (Optional)

The language classes use a fun, participative approach to learning and emphasizes spoken language skills.

The optional English or Spanish language program is specifically designed for children with an interest in soccer and includes a range of role-plays, pair work and activities. Operated by language partner Choices and Berlitz, the program develops English or Spanish skills within a soccer context. Students receive 5 hours of lessons per week of English or Spanish lessons, all taught by qualified teachers in classes of a maximum size of 15 students. Students are tested on arrival, and placed in classes with other students of approximately the same level.

Training Philosophy & Development Model

This unique camp is carried out in collaboration with the Real Madrid, one of the world’s most prestigious and successful soccer clubs.

Coaches will orchestrate these exclusive training sessions, using the same principles and methods they apply on their youth categories teams. The delivery of the training sessions are in Spanish. We have had participants for many years attending the Real Madrid camps from all over the world who do not speak Spanish, and successfully acclimate to the Spanish training environment.

Real Madrid Soccer Camp

Accommodations for the Real Madrid Soccer Camp is at the Erasmo Residence at the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid, in double rooms (2 students per room), and are equipped with a bathroom and air conditioning. The Residence has a TV and DVD room, study room, computers and games room, gym, laundry and night surveillance. Accommodations include breakfast, hydration mid-morning, lunch, snack and dinner

Real Madrid High Performance Camp

Accommodations for the Real Madrid High Performance Camp are located at the Universidad Europea de Madrid at the Villaviciosa de Odón Campus. The facilities include both single and double rooms all which have a bathroom and air conditioning. The campus includes extensive sports and recreational facilities including a Multi-purpose sports hall, 1 synthetic football pitch, track, beach volleyball court, 4 changing rooms, 9 tennis courts and 2 physiotherapy units. Soccer camp training will take place at the municipal artificial turf fields nearby the University.

Supervision

Upon arrival in Spain, players are picked up at the Madrid Airport (if Airport Transfer is selected as optional service) and escorted by bus to the training center. Supervision is provided around the clock, both at the living quarters as well as throughout the day during the training activities.

The meeting point for residential and day camp players on the first and last day of the camp is at Santiago Bernebeu Stadium.
