The West Ham United Foundation is based in East London, Essex promoting health and well being to its players. The Academy of Football builds upon West Ham United Football club's heritage of developing high quality players both technically and physically. Its premier league football academy is recognized as one of the top football academies in the UK and continuously supervised by the West Ham United development squad.

The Academy program has been created in an exclusive partnership with Choices International which is a leading recognized sports & education organization. The whole structure of the program has been designed and is operated by them for all international athletes.

This soccer and education program in London, aims to help soccer players achieve their full potential both on and off the field, providing Premiership training techniques that will challenge and enhance the playing performance of the student-athletes.

Elite Pro Experience | Football & Studies Program

This unique Football and Studies program with WestHam United in the U.K. offers 9 months of intensive soccer training and match-play under the supervision of the West Ham United academy coaching staff.

Players attending the Elite Pro Experience program are given a personalized youth football development plan, access to club talent ID opportunities, an official academy kit and membership to the UEL high performance gym. Additional, academy members are integrated with community academy players, taking part in competitions and tournaments according to their age and abilities.

Elite Pro Experience | Football Only Program

The Pro Experience West Ham United Football Only Program is the perfect opportunity to shape your pathway into the professional football market. This program is aimed at participants that want to immerse themselves in high intensity professional football training. This Pro Experience option allows players to see how professional players work and train on a daily basis, gaining valuable insight and knowledge into how an English professional league football club operates behind the scenes.

The Pro Experience focused on Football only is for players with no aspiration to study for a period of 3 to a maximum of 6 months. Players are given the opportunity to attend high quality, undergraduate and postgraduate level lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by West Ham development squad. Top Female Football Academy in the U.K.

Whether you have played in a Pro Soccer Academy with aspirations to make a career in soccer, or you just want to boost your skills in football, this unique Pro Experience Women's program by the West Ham United elite development center is designed to make girls soccer players reach their full potential and progress into women's university soccer or at various levels within the beautiful game.

All coaching sessions will be led by fully qualified WHU Foundation Player Development Soccer Coaches. This program builds upon the West Ham United Women's FC philosophy, ensuring that all female players embrace the core technical and tactical soccer skills of the game.

High Performance Summer Soccer Tryouts with WHUF

Train like a professional and get the opportunity to receive a scholarship to enter the academy

Summer soccer trials are aimed to male/female players ages 16 - 19 and take place in West Ham United Chadwell Heath facilities in London. Participants will be accommodated in UEL Docklands Campus either from July 3rd - 9th or July 10th - 16th (Full session 2-weeks option also available).

WHU Academy Training Methodology

The coaches and technical staff are the same West Ham United Academy coaching and support team that supports all West Ham United youth players, integrating the latest sports technology with world-class soccer training techniques.

Player profile analysis: Technical analysis on the field by WHU professional scouting team. Medical analysis through cardiac and psychomotor evaluation. Biomechanical and pediatric analysis tested at first competitive level.

Individual focus: Tailored training plan support incorporating workouts on the fields and in the gym. Nutritional plan adapted to the players according to their specific needs. Individual mentoring off the field.

Academic Programs

INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION PROGRAM:
The IBCM International Foundation Diploma is a qualification designed to prepare students for entry into their chosen degree specialization. The program is designed for international students who wish to progress to an under-graduate degree course. The IFD program covers a wide range of degree specializations; including Sports Management, Business, Law, Health Sciences and many more. The program is OFQUAL-accredited and is recognized by over 80+ UK, US and other international universities.

BTEC PROGRAMS:
The BTEC in Sport provides an excellent and valued route to university, especially for students considering a degree in the sport. IBC offers a range of Pearson BTEC Level 3 in International Sport including pathways for Sport, Coaching & Development and Business & Management.

Beckton Football Pitches

The Academy of Football's primary facilities are at the West Ham United Foundation's training ground in Beckton. All-weather full-size state of the art 3G surface is flood-lit and UEFA accredited providing players the highest quality and overall reducing the risk of injures during performance. Participants will have access to all training facilities including changing rooms, showers, self-study and teaching rooms at The Academy.

The program also integrates training at University of East London (UEL Sportsdock) and London Marathon Community Track. Some of the facilities players will have access to are listed below:

WHUF The Academy of Football Accommodations 2023

Accommodation options for students include residences, host families and house sharing. There is a wide variety, ranging from single en suite student residential rooms, to half board homestay individual accommodation, to double, twin or single rooms in shared houses.
