SG Quelle Fürth continues to prove itself as one of the most solid teams in the Landesliga Nordost. With 4 wins, 5 draws, and no losses, the “Dambachers" sit in fifth place, maintaining their unbeaten record. The most recent chapter of this impressive run came last weekend with a 2-1 away victory over TSV Windeck 1861 Burgebrach, a result that keeps Quelle undefeated and full of confidence. This win sets the stage for an electrifying showdown in their next match against the current league leaders, FC Eintracht Münchberg, who also remain unbeaten so far. It’s a clash that could have major implications for the top of the table.

Just before this, Quelle battled to a thrilling 1-1 draw against TSV Buch at home. Despite playing with ten men after Johannes Ramthun was sent off, Quelle showed character and took the lead through Stefan Seiler (76’). However, the visitors managed to equalize thanks to Armin Sormaz, leaving a bittersweet taste in a match full of intensity. Earlier in the season, the team secured a 0-0 away result against SV Buckenhofen, and on Matchday 6 they celebrated big with a 0-4 away win over SV Lauterhofen. On Matchday 5, the TV Fürth 1860 Stadion roared after a 2-1 victory against DJK Ammerthal. Other hard-fought draws include 1-1 against ASV Weisendorf, and two 2-2 ties versus TSV 1860 Weißenburg and SV Unterreichenbach. The season started in style with a convincing 0-4 away win over FSV Erlangen-Bruck.

Among the players contributing to this campaign is Giuliano Zannone, part of the Pro IFX Year Germany program, who has been earning valuable minutes and making an impact when called upon from the bench — a key experience for his development in German football.
