Ashaan Rajgarhia transferred from SG Quelle to FSV Erlangen-Bruck

It is Official! IFX has successfully managed the transfer of Pro IFX participant Ashaan “Ash” Rajgarhia (18) to FSV Erlangen-Bruck for 2018-19 season. After an enriching experience alongside SG Quelle Furth U19 under the command of experienced coach Werner Schell, Ash and his teammates achieved to bring the team to the top of the A-Jugend league last season. Ash came to Germany as part of the Pro IFX Year program which allows students to learn German language and complement their immersion process playing for a German soccer club fit to their level. This year FSV Erlangen-Bruck took up four youth players and decided to include Ash in its roster. Ash, in his second consecutive year with IFX Soccer in Germany, came up from youth to the tough Bayernliga (fifth Division in Germany).

Ash is a native of New Jersey (U.S.) but has been adopted by German soccer culture and in his second consecutive year with IFX Soccer he has decided to start his higher education in our Business School partner University in Nuremberg while he developed his game in one of the most important leagues of the world. Ash has suited up and played with his new team in some friendly matches so far including a tournament. He said he is very excited about the opportunity to align and feels very confident for the upcoming season. Ash understands how demanding the Bayernliga is and how challenging FSV Erlangen-Bruck can be, thus one of his short term goals is to become a starter and play right back as he used to, and contributing to achieve the long awaited promotion this season.

Bayernliga promotion was finally achieved when the club won the Landesliga in 2008 and this season for sure they will be fighting for the top of the table.
