AUSTRALIAN GOALKEEPER JONATHAN FAERBER SIGNS WITH BAYERNLIGA CLUB

6’4” keeper Jonathan Faerber, a Sydney, Australia native, signed this past week with Bayernliga club FSV Erlangen-Bruck. Despite a minor shoulder injury during a keeper training with SC Feucht while on trial, Faerber managed to impress the Bruck coaching staff during his trials and IFX friendly matches. Faerber’s shear size is a huge asset as a goalkeeper in Germany and also has extremely quick hands and good distribution qualities. Faerber will likely be resting his shoulder for another 2-4 weeks but should see game time come late August or early September.
