The Bezirksliga Mittelfranken Nord club, SpVgg Hüttenbach-Simmelsdorf, welcomes two new talents for the 2024-25 season as Clagemi Saenz and Daniel Vanni join the roster, eager to make an impact in the Bavarian leagues. Both players are part of the IFX Pro Year program, which offers young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills in competitive German football while learning the German language as part of their cultural immersion. The Bezirksliga, currently the seventh tier of the German football league system, provides a challenging platform for players like Saenz and Vani to showcase their abilities and grow.

SpVgg Hüttenbach welcomes Daniel Vanni

Vani, who made an unexpected move from SV Baiersdorfer with the help of IFX Nürnberg, has already made a strong impression, participating in the last four games. His most recent match was a thrilling 4-2 away victory against 1. FC Schnaittach in the Toto-Pokal Kreis-Erlangen Pegnitzgrund. The game saw Vani’s team leading 2-0 at halftime, only for their opponents to equalize by the 62nd minute. However, the team responded quickly, scoring in the 65th minute and securing their place in the next round of the cup with a final goal in the 86th minute.

Reflecting on his transition, Vani stated: "My focus has always been on what I can control and improve, and this move has given me the chance to play more and gain confidence." Discussing his experience in German soccer, he added: "The difference between Colombian and German soccer is significant. I’m using my experience from both to improve my game." Vani also spoke highly of his new club: "The coach, my teammates, and the overall environment have been really welcoming. I’ve felt like part of the team from day one."

SpVgg Hüttenbach welcomes Clagemi Saenz

For Clagemi Saenz (20), a native of Memphis, Tennessee, moving from competing in the 1ª Castilla y Leon league (Spanish 7th Division) with CDF Cubillos last season to Germany represents a significant change. The opportunity to play alongside Vani, as well as with other skilled German players, will undoubtedly help elevate his game. Developing under the guidance of experienced German coaches is a crucial step in his career. Like Vani, Saenz will focus on adapting to the fast-paced, physical nature of the league while refining his skills through additional morning training sessions with the IFX Nürnberg coaches.

As the season progresses, both players have set clear objectives: to gain confidence, improve as individuals and teammates, and ultimately push toward their final goal of going pro. All our players benefit from the structure and support provided by IFX Soccer’s Pro Year Germany program, which helps them thrive both on and off the field. IFX will continue to play a pivotal role in player development, ensuring they have the right opportunities to grow as much as possible.
