We have more exciting transfer news from our youth soccer players in Germany. This time we are pleased to announce that Max Ritter (18) has been officially signed as new player of Baiersdorfer SV for their U19 soccer team. Ritter, a defensive midfielder native of Newark, USA came to Germany as part of our Pro Year IFX student exchange program. Since Max started training at our soccer academy in Fürth, IFX representatives quickly identified their strengths of game placing him on soccer trials with BSV. After successfully complete his trial period, club’s managers decided to sign them as fully rostered player for this season.

"As a team, we hope to be in the top 4 out of 8 teams in the Landesliga (3rd division of U19) where we will then be put into a sort of “promotion playoffs.” Personally, I just hope to improve and get quicker with my actions/decisions. But it also looks like I will be playing striker despite my usual position being a 6 or an 8- so hopefully I can bag a couple of goals" Ritter stated.

Baiersdorfer SV is a higher-level club among U19 teams in the Bayern region and one of IFX's long term partner clubs. BSV is a well-run club with solid financial backing.
