Pyrbaum, Germany. IFX Soccer is delighted to announce the signing of its Pro IFX Player Kamron Crow (22) by the Bayernliga Nord club SV Seligenporten e.V. (Die Klosterer). The former midfielder of San Francisco City Football Club (SF City FC) who came to Germany through Pro IFX Germany program was signed by "Die Klosterer" after successfully completing his trial period with the club. In Kamron´s first two weeks training at IFX Soccer Academy in Fürth, IFX representatives quickly recognized his talent with the potential to fit in Pyrbaum´s club. "SV Seligenporten was the first team I trialed with. The process was really demanding but in the end they really liked me and they decided to sign me. I was really surprised but at the same time really happy. We are still in preseason right now facing a couple of friendly matches, still building the final roster and getting everyone signed onto the team," Crow stated.

SV Seligenporten is a top-notch German football club in the region of Bavaria. Kamron is excited about being exposed to high level German soccer and in his own words he is happy to be part of it because he considers it a little better than what he was used to back home. As each week goes by he will get more acclimatized to the style and the position he plays. So far, he had strong performances in the last two friendly matches. He confesses he likes how the team plays and how it reacts to certain situations of the game. He is really looking for seeing what kind of other competition is out there because one of their biggest goals as a team is to earn promotion back to the Regionalliga Bayern (Fourth Division in Germany).

During this short period of Kamron´s time in Germany he has identified some similarities between the German football style and the American soccer style but there are also some differences that he has had to adjust to. He has been doing an excellent job so far participating alongside other IFX participants in the IFX Soccer Academy in Fürth. In IFX training sessions, players not only master basic techniques but also are introduced to the German football style, where transition plays a huge part of the game defensively and offensively.  Also the physicality is the big thing you have to adjust to so "that´s one thing we really focus on with my team right now," Kamron stated.

Kamron has a high quality list of teams where he has played in U.S. (SF City FC from 2016-2018, Midland-Odessa Sockers in Texas from 2014-2015, DeAnza Force Academy from 2010-2014, Ballistic from 2009-2010 and for Placer United from 2006-2009) but this is the first time he plays soccer abroad and nothing better than do it in Germany where football-soccer is not just a sport but a national tradition. SV Seligenporten has been really welcoming, really friendly to him and he is very grateful for the managers and coaching staff.

Each player gets placed with a club and IFX manages the process of the international transfer and player licensing process for each player. Education is an integral component of the IFX program as well. In Kamron's case he will study at an intensive German Language School 4 days per week, which will be really instrumental and enable him to learn theo German Language which will be extremely important for his integration both on and off the field.
