Nuremberg, Germany. We are pleased to announce another signing of the talented Asanti Herring (19), a native of Chicago, Illinois, who has signed to play soccer for the German Football Club Stein 1909 eV (FC Stein) led by coach Markus Mühling to 2017-18 season of the Bezirksliga Mittelfranken Nord. FC Stein is a German soccer club from the beautiful city of Nuremberg, and a solid mid-level Amateur club in a region with rich soccer history dating back over a century with  professional German football teams in the region like 1. FC Nuremberg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth

Asanti plays as a right winger. His past amateur experience was playing football in Chicago for Irlam FC from the Youth Alliance League. Looking to step forward in his football career, Asanti decided to embark on an adventure to Germany, beginning first with our Pro IFX 30 Day July program. He underwent intense training in our international soccer academy, showcased himself in various soccer trials with IFX partner clubs, and then after an offer came in from FC Stein, decided to accept the offer and move to Nuremberg to take part of our Pro IFX Year Germany program. This is a total immersion soccer program enabling players to be placed to compete for highly competitive semi-pro/Amateur German clubs for anywhere from a half-season to multiple seasons, while studying either at a German language institute or German University Business School. Players also train weekly with the IFX players to supplement their obligations with their club training and games.
