IFX Soccer Transfer News: "Danny" Garcia Playing football overseas

Playing overseas soccer is increasingly more popular among youth Americans who aim to play professional football abroad. This is the case for Daniel García (20) a native of Orlando Florida who made a pause on his 3rd year of his University and embarked on a personal project that could change his life.

Danny began his journey with our Pro Year IFX Germany this Summer and alongside other soccer players from around the world started an intense soccer training program in our international soccer academy in Nürnberg. Everyday, professional soccer trainers supervised their performance, teaching new soccer drills and feedback on how to perform during their soccer tryouts with our partners club teams in Germany.

After a couple of weeks training with different German soccer teams, Danny earned himself a spot with TSV Burgfarrnbach, a team that competes in Kreisliga Nürnberg and boast multiple beautiful soccer fields. Under the command of Patrick Reichenauer and with his new team mates, Danny not only will be challenged to play German soccer but will fine tune his overall soccer abilities throughout the season giving him the necessary tools excel in European football.

As usual, during the time of the contract with TSV Burgfarrnbach, Danny will study German Language at our partner Language Institute in Nürnberg. Learning the local language is a tremendous advantage our players enjoy, not only during training with their respective clubs but also it helps them to enjoy at a maximum their leisure time. It is true that the majority of Germans speak English but they also appreciate foreigners who are integrating well into their culture.

"I feel very excited and honored to join TSV Burgfarrnbach. I’m excited to compete and help the team this season. I enjoyed my trial with Burgfarrnbach, the level of play was really high and I knew I needed to be at my best to impress the coaches and show what I bring to the team" Garcia, stated.

As part of our Pro Year IFX Germany, our players share fully furnished apartments in downtown Nürnberg city which allows them fully access the public transportation and extra training sessions at our football academy in Europe for international students under the guidance of experienced and professional German soccer coaches. These morning soccer training sessions complement their club training obligations, ensuring players get valuable time on the ball to focus on key aspects of their game.
