ERLANGEN, GERMANY – PRO IFX YEAR GERMANY

IFX’s Zack Shiposh and FSV Erlangen-Bruck took on 2. Bundesliga side SpVgg Greuther Fürth in a friendly benefit match this past Wednesday in Erlangen-Bruck. With a relatively good first half for the Bruck eleven, ending the half 1-3, Fürth opened up the second half with two quick goals, opening up the flood gates for their subsequent onslaught. After 90 minutes, Fürth came away with a 10-1 victory.

Shiposh started in defensive midfield for Bruck, with several heated battles against South Korean 19 year old Jungbin Park, who is on loan to Fürth from VfL Wolfsburg. Dominating the right flank was Daniel Brosinski who also just landed in Fürth from MSV Duisburg.

In the end it was a tough day for the Bruck squad but as Shiposh put it, it was a learning experience and was impressed with, “how organized they were on the field, how they were able to spread the field so much and basically make us run like dogs the whole entire game 90 minutes through.”
