This is the third season of Kamron Crow (24) playing soccer in Germany. Crow arrived to Germany in 2018 as part of our Pro IFX Year program and quickly adapted to the German game and made a spot in the competitive Bayernliga club SV Seligenporten. During the long break, because of coronavirus, the native of California was targeted by his former coach Hendrik Baumgart, as part of a list to reinforce TSV Kornburg for the upcoming season. Kamron as well as Stanislaus Herzel (30) from FV Illertissen and Luis Kettlitz (19) from JFG Wendelstein are just some of the newcomers who have brought a lot of quality to the team.

On local sport media, head coach Baumgart stated: “With the arrival to my successor Gerd Klaus (SVS Head Coach) Kamron was being waisted at the “monastery”. That is why I have brought him in. I am also glad that I now have another left foot in the squad." It is worthy to mention that Crow can play as number six or a left defender.

It seems like a good start for the boys from Southern Nürnberg. After resumption of season 2019-21 in early September, TSV Kornburg has won a total of five games in a row (4 for the Landesliga Nordost and 1 game for the Pokal German Cup). The team lead by Hendrik Baumgart is showing on the field that all the investment done by managers and its main sponsor, Novina Hotels, is paying off. TSV Kornburg have set the goals very clear: in the short term to avoid relegation and in the middle term come back to the Bayernliga, stabilize there and not just stay for another year. “Bayernliga is more attractive, you have more spectators because the games are better and bigger teams come to Nürnberg. Advertising partners also prefer to advertise in a higher league,” stated TSV Kornburg Manager, Josef Maiser.

Recently TSV Kornburg defeated Feuchtwangen 2-0 in the Ligapokal, a result that puts the Nürnberg team dream of reaching further stages of this national competition within reach. Regarding Landesliga Bayern Nordost competition; TSV Kornburg defeated FSV Erlangen-Burck (2-1), FC Herzogenaurach (9-0), FC Vorwärts Röslau (2-1) and in a rematch opportunity against Feuchtwangen 5-1 giving them a winning streak of 5 in a row during this 2019-21 resumption of the league.

  • "I am also glad that I now have another left foot in the squad" stated coach Hendrik Baumgart.

On a personal basis, Kamron proclaimed to us that his experience with IFX has been really good overall. “I feel I learn more and more every year, not just about my football staff but also with my school has been going really well. I started my masters this year so there is a lot I have been able to take advantage of being part of IFX,” Kamron stated.

We from IFX Soccer are happy to support Kamron in Germany as a soccer agency and wish him every success in his season next to TSV Kornburg team. If you want to open doors in European soccer, let’s talk about your next step +1 510-599-4625!
